This water dispenser is a fabulous idea and the wicking mat that soaks up the water is a very nice quality. The bottle neck has ridges to twist in place which makes one think that you can secure the bottle to the base, but this is not the case. The bottle stays in the holder okay if you really push it in hard, but don't think about picking it up by the bottle because it will come out of the base and you'll have water everywhere. It is not a secure attachment. The bottle is smaller than others I have purchased and the entire product is lighter weight. Not a bad item, especially for the cost, but plan on either being VERY careful with it or securing the bottle to the base with an additioinal method like a tight rubber band around it top to bottom. 

product is just like pictures, I'm very happy with it, glass is clear, looks high quality, very well packaged, i would buy again
